oliama is a small Japanese studio keeping one careful engine with two hands — Kaku for code, Egaku for line. Built in Shinmachi, Osaka, tuned every morning at six.
01 / The engine
Most studios chase many models at once. We keep one. It lives on a machine in our Shinmachi room, and every weekday morning we sit with it: reading yesterday's drafts, correcting its hand, feeding it better material. The result is an engine that writes serviceable code and draws honest line work — not a spectacle, a tool.
Teams in Osaka and abroad rent time on it. Some use only the code hand. Some only the drawing hand. Most, eventually, use both.
How the model works02 / Two hands
HAND ONE
The code hand. Kaku drafts functions, refactors tired files, and argues politely about architecture. It prefers plain language instructions and returns code a senior would sign.
HAND TWO
The drawing hand. Egaku renders clean vector line work — ink studies, interface mockups, architectural figures — with the restraint of a pencil that knows when to stop.
